Executive Director Mrs. Lori L. Grassi Lori joins the WSCA as the Executive Director and the Director of Government Relations, responsible for lobbying state government and building funds for the Washington Chiropractic Trust and increasing membership. Prior to joining the WSCA Lori worked 4 years as a Policy Analyst for the Office of the Insurance Commissioner (OIC). Lori brings a broad background of information, to include experience testifying before the White House Commission on Complementary and Alternative Medicine Policy, health care and insurance policy and volunteer board work. Prior to working at the OIC Lori was a licensed massage therapist in private practice in Seattle for six years. While in practice, Lori became involved in the American Massage Therapy Association and actively lobbied all levels of government throughout the country, holding both state and national positions. Her personal interests include traveling to Italy, Italian ceramic painting and bicycle riding.

Finance Manager Aloria D. Mercer Aloria Mercer brought over 15 years of customer service, finance, sales and management skills to the WSCA over 4 1/2 years ago. She has vast experience working with both for profit and non-profit organizations. Her management skills range from organizer with her labor union to a facilitator for affordable housing with The Worker Center, a division of the King County Labor Council. Aloria volunteered as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) for King County for 4 years, advocating for children in crisis. Ms. Mercer considers her proudest achievements her two children, David and Myra. She has been a patient and supporter of chiropractic healthcare for over 15 years and is excited to be a part of the WSCA.

Administrative Assistant Shaka U. Forest Shaka has been with the Association since late in 2006. He came to us with a vast experience of working with non-profits including the Environmental Protection Agency and Community Health Centers of King County. In the years Shaka has been with us he has been a valuable player in keeping the office going and helping conferences run smoothly. Shaka is a movie buff who brings his unique sense of humor to the WSCA.

Program Director Ms. Sara Stewart Sara is a Washington native and a graduate from the University of Arizona where she received her B.S. in Animal Science, Equine Industry. She did post graduate work at Murray State University in Kentucky. Sara resides in Seattle and enjoys spending time with her dog, family, and friends. She is a member of the Junior League of Seattle and The Center for Women and Democracy. Sara is an animal lover and a skilled horse trainer, and has won numerous championships on the local, state, and regional level. She is thankful for the opportunity the WSCA has given her and is looking forward to working with all of you. Sara has a strong background in the hospitality industry and her event planning experience includes coordinating fundraisers, hotel functions, social events, and weddings. Her goals as a part of the WSCA team are to increase profits, corporate memberships, and WSCA's involvement in seminars throughout the state. She is most excited about utilizing her creative abilities in planning and coordinating the WSCA conferences in an effort to build and strengthen the existing foundation of WSCA events.

Publications Editor Ms. Jane Rial Jane Rial has partnered with the WSCA since 1996 as designer and editor of the Plexus magazine. She spent most of her early career in corporate marketing and advertising in Denver, Colorado and later as marketing director for a Bellevue law firm before launching her publication design business, Rial Marketing Communications, 16 years ago. She is a longtime chiropractic patient and enjoys the challenge, creativity and teamwork of capturing a glimpse of the chiropractic profession through each issue of the Plexus. She is a graduate of Western Michigan University with a BBA degree in Marketing and Advertising. Jane lives in Bend, Oregon where she and her husband enjoy the adventures of parenthood with their three children. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her quarter horse, nurturing her passion for photography and skiing.

Information Technology George Cunningham George Cunningham is a local IT Professional / Entrepreneur who has been the owner and operator of Vision Computing since 1999. George and the staff at Vision Computing serve the Puget Sound Region providing IT support to over 80 small medical practices throughout the area. George is a native of Birmingham, AL. He came to the Pacific Northwest during his 9 year tour in the US Navy. After he left the Navy, he decided to make Puyallup his home. His education includes extensive electronics training while in the Navy, and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems. He has over 25 years of experience in the electronic and computer industry.
