• Jeff Curwen and Lori Grassi are in Boston attending the ChiroCongress annual convention, but we have an important update for everyone concerning Regence’s recent policy change on PM&R services provided by chiropractors.
  • Once informed of the issue by you, the WSCA took immediate action with both Regence and the OIC.
  • We received word today that Regence is pausing implementation of this policy and will reprocess all PM&R claims submitted on and after November 1.
  • At this point, it’s only a pause–the WSCA’s work on it is not done. But we have won Round 1 of the fight.
  • Washington chiropractors should continue billing these codes as the services are provided and stay tuned to our newsletters for more information as it arises.
  • Quick and decisive responses like this are perhaps the most important service the WSCA provides the profession.
  • If you’re not currently a member, join today to help us continue defending chiropractic in Washington.
